tombow marker, watercolor
Willow is a dog that was living at the Shelter for quite awhile. We think she's a coon hound. She was a challenge to walk as in pull, pull, pull -good for taking all the tension out of your shoulders and arms. She clearly wanted to climb trees-if you walked by a tree, she would head straight for it, put up her paws and get ready to head on up looking for racoons maybe? She was delivered to a hound rescue service this weekend and they already had a home lined up for her. My hope for Willow is that she is allowed to run like the wind through fields and woods till she finds that perfect tree, and that she is loved dearly because she deserves it.
Martha and I were walking around the fields today, actually, Martha was puddle jumping and eating goose poop, when Tom of UPS came down the road bearing gifts. Martha got a cookie and I got a package of new Tombow Markers. Here they are posing next to one of Martha's many friends.

Aaaaww, Willow, sweet Willow. I like how you used your new Tombow pens to paint her.
Dear Chris - Willow looks so sweet and you did such a wonderful job with those markers. Have a great day.
What a great drawing. I like your use of the tombow markers, so effective. I have a couple of browns but like the black...off to the shop I go :)
Great use of those markers Chris!! Willow looks so sweet and deserves a loving home.
Not familiar with Tombow markers. Are they similar to Pitt pens or do they have more of a brush tip? Love that hound face!
