Snow Day

dip pen and ink, touch of gouache, collage

Finally, it snowed.  Martha, with her thick, curly coat,  prefers this weather-the colder the better.  She'd sleep on the porch at night if we let her.  She follows the mysterious tracks-squirrel?racoon?fox? of the intruders, tears apart wood for kindling, digs holes to get at the voles-perfect snow day.

This should be on a calendar, or on notecards, or wrapping paper. I would buy it.
