I never find 4 leaf clovers.  My daughter can find 5 or more at a time.  Today without even looking, one appeared.  I will have excellent luck the rest of the year and so will you.   Happy St. Patrick's Day.

I entered a juried competition for the St. Michaels Art League Banners recently and my painting was accepted.  It will be scanned, made into a banner which will be hung in town, and posters will be made for the merchants to sell.  I wanted to do something bold, colorful and graphic.  I knew I wanted to do a boat and thought of Leslie Saeta's style:  http://lesliesaeta.blogspot.com/.  Leslie does a lot of sailboats and although I live in sailboat country, I prefer the quiet dignity of the workboats.
